Lol. Bored yet?
Getting the dust off of this little monster. Things are going about as well as ca be expected right now. I'm putting the Mage Knight campaign crunch together. It seems that some promised input will not be forthcoming, so I'm going alone.
I've also acquired a butt-ton of terrain, mostly 3D-prints but also some interesting foamwork I found out there in the wild. Between these and one (presumably) final batch, it is time to get this party started.
On the miniatures themselves, well, the market for Mage Knight minis has gone absolutely nuts. What were once impossible dreams have become a real life collection. Rare figures nobody cared about last year are now desirable and valuable figures instead. The elusive ultra-rares are triggering the auction equivalent of a fist fight; it's like the last 15 years and the game's collapse never happened. I've managed to make a few scores myself. Torc. Grim Ivydown. Golemkiller. Just a few of the figures that have found their may here.
I've even finally completed a goal I thought beyond me; I wanted to recreate most of my old Limited Edition collection, and I had attained most of this, but one figure eluded me. I won't lie, it rankled a bit, since this figure was also a particular favorite of mine, but then and now. I wandered up and down eBay. I all but begged on Facebook's Mage Knight groups. I tried some desperate Google-fu, hoping there was some secondhand site that might have what I sought. Two freaking years. And all it took in the end was one late-night wandering on the Bay, and finally, Sir Mishler was mine once more. You can laugh, because it is funny; a grown man going nuts over a fancy toy. But it is what it is.
So, look forward to hearing from me more often, and getting to see some actual progress on things, plus even some pics. All Your Clicky Base Are Belong To Us!
